Dashboard
The Dashboard provides a quick overview of your fleet's activity and data flow. It helps in confirming whether devices are connected, sending and receiving data, and functioning as expected.
At the top of the Dashboard, Recent Packets shows the number of packets sent and received across multiple rolling windows, starting from the last one minute, to the last 24 hours. This panel acts as a smoke-check to ensure that packet flow remains consistent and expected over time.
Below that, we have the All Packets chart. Each line on this chart represents a device, and the value is the total number of packets the device has sent/received.
After that, we have four charts, one for each type of packet: heartbeats, incoming datapoints, incoming messages, and outgoing mail. Each line represents a device, and the value represents the number of packets of that type.
Hovering over a point will show you the number of packets for each device at that time. You can drag your cursor across any of these charts to zoom into a time range. Double-click on the chart to reset the zoom.
We support time intervals ranging from 1 hour to 30 days, while 24 hours is the default.
These charts are intended to help you figure out whether your fleet is functioning as expected.
